This 18650 battery holder is a versatile and sturdy option for various applications. It holds flat top batteries better than button top and can be joined together with wires. The holder has a very high connection pressure which reduces the resistance from spring plate to battery cell. The surface area of spring plates is higher gauge than the wire used which only limits the cell charging capacity/current, not the holder. The holder can be used for lifepo4 18650 cells. The majority of customers found the holder to work fine and it is the favorite option for many. Some appreciated the tight battery bits and how well the holder works to hold cells. It has worked successfully for several customers' remote cameras and radio systems. It is also suitable for heavy current draws with no heat issues, unlike the spring type. Customers found the stiff contacts soldered well, but some struggled with mounting the holder due to the small and uncountersunk screw holes. One customer experienced a battery catch fire while charging and believed the holder had no margin for expansion while battery is charging. Another customer who wanted to mount the holder flat onto a board and bend the pins to sit evenly, found it challenging due to the stiffness of the pins.
