Although the book contains many ingredients, most are spices and herbs that can easily be found at a Middle Eastern or Asian market. The author's Italian twist to Israeli cuisine adds a special flavor to the recipes. The bread recipes are particularly noteworthy as they are reminiscent of street food from Jerusalem. The chocolate Krantz/Babka cake recipe is excellent. We highly recommend this cookbook.
