The large 1kg spools of this filament do not fit the Makerbot Replicator 5th Generation printer, but the 2lbs spools do fit it. The filament should be smooth and not grainy or chalky, and it should not snap while bending. If customers experience such problems, they are advised to contact MakerBot Support.
