Drama Editorial Review
Over the Edge is a movie that deeply resonates with those who grew up in suburban environments during the late 1970s. It captures the raw emotions, frustrations, and rebellious tendencies of bored and disaffected teens. The relatability of the characters and their experiences make this movie feel like a personal home movie for those who lived through that time. The film showcases the freedom and mischief that suburban kids indulged in, highlighting the various forms of expression they used to cope with their angst. While some may find it difficult to relate if their childhood was different, the overall impact of the movie remains strong. Over the Edge is a must-watch for anyone nostalgic for the suburban rebelliousness of the late 70s.
