The coffee maker is designed to make one mug at a time but can make enough coffee for a 16 to 20 oz travel mug. The java drip comes with a lid that makes it easy to carry along with your other camping gear. The coffee maker is easy to clean, but it is not dishwasher safe. The plastic part can warp if put in the dishwasher. It is best to use the GSI Outdoors Java Drip Collapsible Pourover Coffee Maker with pre-ground coffee of medium-coarse size.
