The Sharp R-1214 is a 1.5 cubic feet and 1100-watt over-the-counter microwave. It has an impressive stainless steel finish that makes it blend well with most kitchen designs. This unit comes with a counter light and racks to hang kitchen utensils. The microwave has almost every feature that any modern microwave can offer. Based on reviews, customers have found this microwave to be an excellent and solid product. One customer had used an earlier version of this model since 2008, before it recently malfunctioned, and was thrilled to replace it with the same unit - nothing had changed between models except for an upgrade. Another customer had replaced a 10-year-old Sharp, and was impressed with how perfectly it fit the old brackets and screws. However, there have been complaints about poor customer service and broken devices. One reviewer had received a broken machine, and although they tried to contact the company, they have not been contacted to fix it.
