The Saddlemen Protective Tape Kit Clear Universal is marketed as a heavy-duty, automotive-grade product designed to protect your tank or saddlebag without being visible. However, based on customer feedback, the product falls short of expectations. Its heavy mylar does not conform to the shape of your tank or saddlebag and has no stretch or forming capabilities. Furthermore, removing the cover material leaves adhesive on your tank, which is difficult to remove. The product is shipped rolled up, but due to its non-conformity, it does not lay flat for fitting. Additionally, it is not sticking and is bubbling and tearing, causing damage and rendering it ineffective.
