The simple and elegant Prose beautifully invokes the Prince's childlike simplicity and trust. The middle section of the book, where the Prince recounts his encounters with various grown-ups, may drag a little and come off as overly moralistic and instructional. However, once the Prince lands on Earth and interacts with the pilot again, the charm of the initial dialogue returns.
