Detalji o proizvodu
- Why Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener? Available in different colors, you will find your match! Sharpen your kitchen knives yourself, at home in your own kitchen. Precise setting of the sharpening angle with the patented guide. Fine-grained diamond grinding wheel for professional results. Composite honing wheel with integrated polishing agent for razor sharpness. Minimal material removal – you only grind away a minimal amount of steel, keeping your knives performing their best for as long as possible. Quiet running – only 45 dB. Powder-coated housing fully cast in zinc, with a sturdy wooden handle. 8-year warranty – 5 years + 3 years extra with online registration. Made in Lindesberg, Sweden. There’s a Difference Between Sharpening and Sharpening Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener is developed on the same method as our knife sharpening system for commercial kitchens, the Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener, but is adapted and approved for home use. With the Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener, you quickly and easily sharpen the entire bevel of the knife to the exact angle you set with the patented guide. On the honing wheel, you hone away the burr, while polishing the edge to razor sharpness. The low rotation speed of the fine-grained diamond grinding wheel means that only a minimal amount of steel is removed. It also keeps the temperature down to prevent the knife from losing its tempering, so your knives stay sharp longer. You've probably used some tool at some point to get a sharper knife. It could be a simple hand lapper, honing steel or even the back of a plate. Many conventional methods don't fully sharpen the knife, but instead realign a folded edge or hone parts of the edge. This can work as maintenance, but after a few times you'll notice that you're not getting the same sharpness as before. You then need to resharpen your knife and give it a new edge and bevels. Sharpen All Your Kitchen Knives With its innovative design and the best materials, the Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener can sharpen most types of kitchen knives. The patented guide can handle knives with blades 12–60 millimeters (0.5–2.4 inches) high and up to 5 millimeters (0.2 inches) thick, with unlimited length. Choose between 8-22 degrees on each side of the knife. The fine-grained diamond grinding wheel sharpens all types of steel to professional sharpness and can also sharpen ceramic knives. Because you sharpen the knife's bevels separately, you have the option of setting different edge angles on both sides of the knife or sharpening one side only. This allows you to sharpen even more advanced knives. Between sharpenings, you can easily maintain the edge simply by using the honing wheel. When you no longer get the same sharpness, switch back to the diamond grinding wheel. Home Chefs Deserve Professional Sharpness Too Tormek has been developing sharpening machines for professional kitchens for many years. The highly regarded Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener sharpening machine is used by the Swedish Culinary Team and several Michelin star restaurants. Using this experience, Tormek has now developed the first real knife sharpener for the home chef. The T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener has a sleek, subtly industrial design that gives it a natural place in the modern kitchen. Because whether you're cooking in a restaurant or at home in your own kitchen, the chef's most important tool is not a knife, but a real knife sharpener. Quality and Care The Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener is designed for everyone who cares about quality and wants to take care of their equipment. The machine is built to last and comes with an eight-year warranty but will likely keep you sharp for much longer than that. With minimal steel removal, the life of your knives will be extended. It will always be a pleasure to use freshly sharpened, razor-sharp knives in the kitchen. That's why a word of warning is in order – there's a good chance this will become your new favorite gadget.
