Detalji o proizvodu
- Oya Dalgıç çevirisi, David Garnett'in önsözü, Peter Monro Jack'in sonsözü, Yazar ve dönem kronolojisi, Kitaba dair görsellerle.Virginia Woolf'un en uzun romanı olan Yıllar, bir ailenin üç nesillik öyküsünü kusursuz bir dönem resmi içinde sunar.1880'ler Londrası'nda Viktorya Çağı'na özgü geniş bir evin öyküsüyle açılan Yıllar, yeni bir devre umutla bakan Pargiter ailesinin elli yıl boyunca yaşadığı acı tatlı deneyimleri Woolf'un öteki romanlarından farklı, gerçekçi bir anlatımla tasvir eder. Çağdaş kapitalizmin parçaladığı geleneksel ilişkilerin gündelik hayatta yol açtığı gerilimleri içselleştirmeye, savaş öncesinin ütopyacı umutlarıyla savaş sonrasının derin hüznünü bağdaştırmaya çalışan bireylerin kâh karamsar kâh iyimser hallerini anlatan bu unutulmaz yapıt bir devrin nabzını tutan kusursuz bir çağ romanı.Yıllar, anlatımının güzelliğiyle Virginia Woolf'un en hayranlık verici romanıdır.
