SWITCH Split Pad Compact (Pikachu)

The SWITCH Split Pad Compact Pikachu is a visually appealing product that is sure to delight any Pikachu fan. However, there are some downsides to Consider before purchasing this controller. One major drawback is that these controllers can only be used when attached to the Switch itself, unlike the normal controllers which can be used remotely. This restricts their usability and may lead to them being left unused in the corner of the room. Additionally, they cannot be used with a case on your Switch, which can be inconvenient for users who prefer to protect their Console. Other negative aspects include the fact that the home button does not wake the Switch up, there is no NFC/amiibo support, and the labels for the assign and turbo buttons are hard to read. Moreover, users may need to buy a different size carry case for the Split Pad Compact Pikachu, adding an additional expense. On the positive side, the design featuring Mimikyu is a standout feature that many fans will appreciate. Users also found these controllers easier and more comfortable to use for handheld games compared to the standard Joy-Cons. In conclusion, while the SWITCH Split Pad Compact Pikachu has a visually appealing design and offers improved comfort for handheld gaming, it falls short in terms of usability and functionality compared to the standard Joy-Cons.
